Campuhan Antapan Waterfall In Bali, Indonesia

by David & Intan

The Campuhan Antapan waterfall is a unique looking stream waterfall in north Bali, near the popular Leke Leke Waterfall.

Itโ€™s a quiet spot by a clear running stream, with no crowds and almost no hiking needed.

This travel guide will explain how to get there, and everything you need to know before you go!

Campuhan Antapan Waterfall

The walk to the waterfall is super easy and only takes 1 or 2 minutes.

Itโ€™s one of the easiest waterfall hikes in Bali. You donโ€™t even have to go up and down any stairs, just walk straight to it on a flat path that follows the river.

The waterfall is nice and looks very different. It has 3 streams flowing down a slick rock, with a shallow pool to swim in below.

Thereโ€™s not really a comparable one in Bali except maybe Kuning Waterfall, but we liked this one better (and itโ€™s a much easier hike!).

Do be careful on the rocks nearby, because they can be very slippery!

Entrance Fee

Thereโ€™s a 20k IDR (~$1) entry fee as of 2020. No parking fee.

How To Get There

Campuhan Antapan Waterfall is located in central/north Bali, about 1 hour drive from Ubud.

Itโ€™s just a few minutes away from Leke Leke Waterfall, so you can easily visit both waterfalls in the same trip!

The best way to get there is to rent a scooter or hire a private car and driver (both of these can be booked online).

Bali Private Driver & Motorbike Rental

If you want to explore Bali in the comfort and safety of a private car with an English speaking driver, my top recommendation would be GetYourGuide.

Their price is 650k Rupiah ($45 USD) for a full day of driving and sightseeing in Bali (up to 10 hours) for 1-5 passengers. That's the total price for the whole car + driver + petrol! It's a great deal. They also offer affordable hotel transfers from the airport.

If you'd rather travel by motorbike, they have that too. Their scooter rentals start at 140k Rupiah (~$9) and include a helmet, rain coat, and free delivery in the south Bali area.

We've used GetYourGuide for lots of tours and activities around the world, and they're great! Highly recommended.
